4. Registration Limit & Entry Deadline
- Registration is limited to a maximum of 30 boats.
- Entries will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
- The entry deadline is Thursday, March 5th, 2026 at 6:00 PM, or until the 30-boat limit is
- reached, whichever occurs first.
- Late or incomplete entries will not be accepted.
5. Eligibility & Licensing
- A valid Oregon fishing license is required.
- A Warm Springs Tribal fishing permit is required where applicable.
- Anglers are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable regulations.
6. Pre-Derby Procedures
- There will be no pre-derby meeting.
- Fishing begins one (1) hour before official sunrise on Saturday, March 7, 2026.
7. Species & Methods
- Eligible species is limited to bull trout only.
- Fishing methods are restricted to rod and reel only.
8. Fishing Hours
- Saturday: One (1) hour before official sunrise to one (1) hour after official sunset.
- Sunday: One (1) hour before official sunrise to 12:00 PM (noo
9. Check-In Requirement
- All participants must be present in the parking lot at the Crooked River Day Use Area by 12:00 PM
- (noon) on Sunday, March 8, 2026.
- Failure to check in by this time may result in disqualification.
10. Scoring & Measurement
- Longest single fish determines the winner.
- Fish are judged by verified length only.
- A rigid bump board must be used for all measurements.
11. Awards Ceremony
- Sunday at 12:00 PM (noon).
